Description
Overall Impression: A decidedly hoppy and bitter, moderately strong, pale American ale. The balance is hop forward, with a clean fermentation profile and clean supporting malt to allow the hop character to shine through.
Aroma: An intense hop aroma featuring American or New World hop characteristics, such as citrus, floral, pine, spice, tropical and stone fruit. Medium-low clean, maltiness supports the hop presentation. Clean fermentation profile with fruity esters. Appearance: Reddish-amber in colour with medium-sized white head with good persistence. Flavour: High hop flavour with notes of citrus, spice and tropical fruit. Medium-low clean and grainy maltiness, possibly with light caramel flavours. High bitterness with medium-dry finish. Hoppy aftertaste with supportive malt notes. Mouthfeel: Medium body, with a smooth texture and medium carbonation.
